Pets are not allowed at Six Flags Great Adventure. Pets are not permitted in the parks, with the exception of service animals. Service animals are people who are specially trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, such as a hearing or vision impairment, or a physical or mental disability.
They may be accompanied by a person who is at least 18 years of age and who has the same or similar disability as the person with whom they are working or performing tasks. The person must be able to communicate clearly and be under the direct supervision of the handler. Service dogs may not be used to perform tricks or tricks that are likely to cause injury or discomfort to other guests or park visitors.

Is Great America pet friendly?
Only service animals are permitted in the park. Pets must be on a leash at all times. However, you will need to purchase a park pass to gain access to all of the attractions.
Why is it called Six Flags?
Six themed sections, modeled after the culture of the six countries whose flags flew over Texas during the state’s colorful history, created a spectacular and magical setting for families to enjoy.

Is Six Flags Safari a sanctuary?
Flags currently lets visitors either drive their own vehicles through its 350-acre animal sanctuary or take guided bus tours. More than 1.5 million people have visited the Wild Safari animal park at Six Flags. The park is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p. m.
Can dogs ride roller coasters?
Animals cannot safely ride roller coasters such as the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Expedition Everest or any of the mountains. Riding puts them at risk of injury or death because they can’t be secured in the seat. Riders must be at least 18 years old to ride a roller coaster. Riders under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Can I take my dog to Universal Studios?
Animals are welcome in all of our restaurant and merchandise locations, attraction queues and most other locations throughout Universal Studios Hollywood. If you want to register your service animal, please stop by Guest Relations. Pets are not allowed in the Park and must be on a leash at all times.
Are pets allowed at Knott’s Berry Farm?
Live entertainment, educational experiences, dining, and many other fun activities are available at the park. Animals are not allowed inside the Park with the exception of service animals. Pets must be on a leash at all times. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
No shorts, flip flops, sandals, or flip-flops are allowed on the grounds. No, you do not need a ticket. However, we do ask that you bring a printed copy of your ticket with you. Refunds will be issued at the end of each day’s event.
